Big Daddy’s Texas Rub

1/4 cup salt
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup chili powder
2 Tbsp freshly ground black pepper
2 Tbsp ground cumin
1 Tbsp dry mustard
1 tsp cayenne pepper
1/2 tsp ground chipotle pepper
Mix together all the ingredients thoroughly. Best if used right away, but if stored, be sure to use a container with an airtight lid.
