Boozy Amaretto Cherry Jam

NOTE: The Alcohol DOES NOT cook out of this jam.
Makes 8, 1/2 pint jars
5-1/3 cups pitted and halved cherries (chop more if you want a less chunky jam)
1-1/3 cup water
1/4 cup lemon juice
6 Tbs Ball RealFruit Low or No Sugar Pectin
1-1/2 cups white sugar
3 oz amaretto
PREPARE
Prepare and measure ingredients for recipe.
COMBINE prepared fruit with water and lemon juice in a large saucepan. Gradually stir in Ball RealFruit Pectin. Bring mixture to a full rolling boil that cannot be stirred down, over high heat, stirring constantly.
ADD sugar. Return mixture to a full rolling boil. Boil hard 1 minute, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and stir in amaretto. Skim foam if necessary. Fill jars to 1/4 inch headspace, wipe rims, and assemble lids.
Process jars in a water bath canner for 10 minutes.
