I'm going to make her a Gluten free Beer, and I'd like to use the Honeysuckle in the beer. The Syrup looks great, and the honey doesn't hurt for brewing Beer. It looks like this recipe would make a 3lbs jar of syrup (which would be perfect for my purposes, is that correct? Do you know if Honeysuckle would withstand the vodka to make a honeysuckle extract? Thanks much for your recipe, and your time and consideration.Dagtallhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14106385171421043026noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9104582182197134900.post-55042826576221710332018-04-28T13:37:16.260-04:002018-04-28T13:37:16.260-04:00Hey, I'm just wondering what kind of things th...Hey, I'm just wondering what kind of things this syrup could be used for?Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09440284831158835375noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9104582182197134900.post-47938227181810690112017-04-29T09:07:03.438-04:002017-04-29T09:07:03.438-04:00Can you use the petals in anyway once they have st...Can you use the petals in anyway once they have steeped? Our far back pasture fence has about 30+ feet of white honeysuckle and another 10 feet or so of pink honeysuckle. I didn't know there was anything but white until I was out this year gathering blooms. As I walked down the fence there was a gap in the honeysuckle growth, divided by wild cherry trees. The second cluster if honeysuckle has very distinctive dark pink buds opening up to pale pink petals, very pretty! I wouldn't mind if it grew on the pasture fence next to our bedroom. That way we could fall asleep to the scent in spring when it is cool enough to leave the windows open at night.Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06203156859776473162noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9104582182197134900.post-59025076789325287842014-06-14T08:59:26.183-04:002014-06-14T08:59:26.183-04:00LOVE the way it turned out, I didn't expect it...LOVE the way it turned out, I didn't expect it to be thick like syrup, but some folks do expect that I guess since it's called "syrup."
